About the project
This was a cottage built back in the 1950s. What has made this project special and unique is that it’s a family-run B&B. Included in this project was the huge demolition of the existing living area which was attached to the B&B. Just the facade of the building remained along with the B&B section (which was at the rear of the property)
The front of the old cottage was fitted with external insulation and finished with acrylic paint.
This project was architecturally designed to include the original facade as well as making maximum use of available space.
Again the finish on the roof is another example of the architect’s vision, which included a zinc finish dormer, which is both classy and unique.
This internal finish mirrors the outside with its sophistication and style. It is a project we have really loved working on. It is truly worth seeing the finished product.
